Quite possibly the greatest RPG ever made for DOS. Think you're a hardcore gamer? Try beating this game without using a walkthrough or the auto-map mod. The character development in this game is extremely satisfying. The game can be highly challenging, but that only makes it that much sweeter to triumph over a tough battle or confusing puzzle.

This is one of the best Wizardry games, and in general, one of the best RPGs from that era. I'm an old fart that played this game when it first came out. But, ugh it's really UNPLAYABLE. the interface is JUST SO AGGRAVATING. I tried to push on, and I just can't do it. And, I suggest you save yourself the pain. Really love good old fashioned games. But, this one just hurts too much.
