The OG Fallout, with a lot of content, a lot of voice acting, some very nice musical moments (though the first one is the best). There's a rather impressive ending song that changes depending on your choices. That kind of thing really sticks with me. No mods strictly necessary for a good playthrough (as opposed to my 200 odd for New Vegas or the 40,000 that are necessary to make FO4 have a good plot.) It's a solid…

Wasteland 3 is one of the sharpest satires I’ve played in years. If you grew up in the late ’70s and early ’80s, half the jokes land twice, once as a gag and once as a memory. The Gippers worshipping their God-President is a pitch-perfect send-up of the Reagan era. There's just bad game design frequently throughout the period I've played. Some of the combat scenario, how they're initiated are contradictory to what you're actually doing. You can't ambush anybody as there's no sneak mechanic. If you try to approach the thieves in Colorado Springs it doesnt matter that you ambushed them, the game stops you, alerts the enemies and then sends all 6 of them to attack your guy, who…
