I mean, its Ubisoft, so i kinda dont want to like it. But this is actually a really, really good Metroidvania and can confidently punch up towards Silksong, Blasphemous 2 or the Ori games. I bought it on sale and it was worth it. Really good game! One of the best metroidvanias ever made. best combat in the genre it does everything very well it may not be the best at any one thing outside of the combat but everything else is so good and it feels like silk to control very underated by many and overlooked by even more a great video game that know its a video game one of my all time faves.

While this game's visual and sound designs are good or sometimes even excellent, the level design shows some high frustration potentials. I stopped playing at approx. 40% progress due to repeating "try and error"-passages with respawn points too far behind. You have to repeat the same reaction challenges again and again to find out where to jump next. You have to die dozens of times just to see what you've got to…
