I am really enjoying this metroidvania, it has a large world to explore, lots of secrets and side challenges / quests. It overall looks very polished, animations and movement feel fluid. Besides skills, weapons and abilities you get a unique system where you need to combine gems in a sort of inventory grid to stack your attribute upgrades. Makes you think what to prioritise. I tried a handful of games that all felt and looked very similar with Princess Pomu, Witchroid Vania, Star Rift Saga and Bloom Thrice. Despite them all playing competently enough, I found them all to be kind of boring and artistically unappealing.
