It's a very good Metroidvania, I have played a lot of indie Metroidvania and I love very few of them (I didn't like Blasphemous btw) but this one's a solid, I'm really looking towards their next game

The combat is simple but fun with a focus on ranged weaponry and a pretty generous autoaim enabled by default. The boss fights are solid and not too difficult. Not a ton of platforming, but what is there is fun enough. Solid entry at this price, worth getting if you enjoy the demo (assuming free demo is still available on the store page).

I appreciate that this wasn't yet another Metroidvania with Soulslike mechanics as Soulslike combat is an instant dislike for me but at the same time, I just couldn't get into it. I just found nearly everything to be annoying. Traversal annoying, regular enemies annoying, boss fights annoying.
