DS2’s difficulty comes largely from enemy placement and there are quite a lot of ganks in the game. So you have to play at a snail’s pace to get through some areas. On top of that, some enemies aggro extremely easily so it exacerbates the gank issue. The bosses themselves are very forgettable and pretty easy.
