About the game

Explore a haunting, punishing island in this stylized 2D action RPG. Salt and Sanctuary combines fast and brutal 2D combat with richly developed RPG mechanics in a cursed realm of forgotten cities, blood-soaked dungeons, and desecrated monuments.

So, I will divide this review into three aspects: Gameplay, replayability, and mechanics. I will keep the lore out of this review in order to avoid spoiling the experience. ~ Gameplay ~ Quite easily…

One of my favourite games ever. Played it maybe 7 times across different platforms. Couldn't recommend more.

hype moment aura game with "fun" and "consistent" boss design and 3000 projectile and flying enemies. an amazing world, art, and music squandered by a game made by shaking a magic 8 ball for every line of code. we got plushies of this game before yuki too, bummer. Edit: I beat the game and after it all, I feel nothing. I beat each boss and felt nothing after. It invokes nothing. I don't feel accomplished, I didn't…
