Clearly a small team's first attempt at a souls-like but I enjoyed it for what it was and it does have some neat ideas. Worth playing if you want to see where the much improved sequel got it's start.

It's a short and simple souls-like game, but I had a blast playing it. If you like dark atmospheres and tactical challenges but are looking for something concise that you can finish in a weekend without getting lost in endless menus and inventories, I highly recommend it. That said, the DLC's roguelite system was also a lot of fun, which led me to spend much more time than usual playing the game.

Dont believe gameplay footage from trailers, its way worse. You are playing (atleast from the start) as (what feels like) a drunk hobo, who is doing anything but listens to your input. You want to dodge? Nah, we tanking this. Parry? We are willing to enjoy some beating instead. Camera is abysmal: always swaying, no FOV settings, and you dont exactly know where you're going to roll because of it. Collisions of boss…
