I enjoy the combat of this game. It's fluid and smooth to control. If you are looking for a 2D platformer it's a pretty enjoyable game. I often play action games while listening to audiobooks and this one worked well for maximizing my sensor exposure :)

Absolutely stellar 16bit, Icelandic, metroidvania. Bought it for $5, forgot i bought it at all, then decided to try it when I was bored with my other games...Aaand now I'm 15+ hours into it. It feels like Super Nintendo Castelvania, but more modern. Worth every penny.

TL; DR: Pros: Great pixel art Great music Great voice acting Movement feels fluid and combat feels snappy at the start of the game. Cons: Story is greatly disappointing. After the first few areas, combat increasingly begins to feel unfair, with the dodge mechanic being particularly bad in that regard. Loot system is insultingly bad.
