There is a really good vibe to this game. The art is very expressive and even a bit whimsical without being too twee about it. The gameplay is solid even if it lacks a bit of polish, a very by the books metroidvania with challenging bosses and lots of secret nooks and crannies to double jump your way through. I'd love for this studio to make another game if only for a chance to see more goofy characters.

Okay........I LOVED THIS GAME A LOT!!!!!!! Everything about it was perfect. All of the weapons, all of the platforming, the implementation of all of the skills you earned throughout the game...perfect. Everything about it was fun. I played it on the easiest difficulty (Story) because I've read that it is a difficult game; as a semi-casual semi-serious gamer I was not let down by the difficulty. It definitely was not…

This game is nothing special. There's tens of other Metroidvania's I would recommend over this. I was attracted by the unique arts tyle, but it honestly feels pretty cheap when actually playing. Powerups were interesting, but there's nothing calling me back to ever play this again.
