I loved the original Resident Evil. Warts and all. So I really enjoyed this remaster. If you enjoyed the original, then this game is for you. Yes it has janky controls. Yes it has cringe worthy dialogue. Yes it has a glut of 5 second load screens that consist of doors opening. Yes it has inventory managment up the wazoo. I wish there was a more neutral spot... it's not that I think this game is bad. In fact, I really enjoyed it at first. My only problem is that I feel really bored playing it. I don't dislike the game at all, I find it to be really interesting and enjoyable at some moments. It's just that in between those moments, I'm bored out of my mind trying to figure out what to do. I'm not really keen on looking it up either so…
