Very competent metroidvania, not quite reaching the heights of Hollow Knight or Nine Sols, but still enjoyable in it's own right. Most unique thing about it was the narrative, which was touching, but also can be confusing if you unlock things in wrong order (which I did). Game is very good. It has a bit of all the good Metroidvania in it; Hollow Knight and Ori especially. If you are looking for a difficult game, you won't find it here. The game is not challenging, but this lack of difficulty allowed me to just enjoy the game instead of getting frustrated at random parts. Insane average metroidvania with okay combat but mindboggling bad encounter design at times. If you were bothered with contact damage in silksong and don't like random difficulty spikes don't buy this.
