Addictive. Content has been consistently delivered. I was happy with my purchase even before quests and Multiplayer which have both extended my play time. Good for a quick game, good for a long time with plenty of viable builds to cheese.

9 Kings is a really fun and fast-paced game, perfect for passing the time. The concept works so well precisely because it doesn’t require a huge commitment every time you play: you jump in, build your strategy, fight through the waves, and see how far you can get. I enjoyed the game but I have to admit I lost interest pretty quick, and I would feel a bit disappointed if I hadn't gotten it on sale. There's just not a lot of "meat" here. The essential gameplay loop is this: pick one out of three cards, put it on a 3x3 grid, watch a battle, repeat.
