Boyle Wolfbane wanted to rule the world. He failed. Miserably. Forced into retirement early, Boyle now spends his days arguing with haunted trees and scaring off the occasional knight. At least he still has Fang, his loyal storm wolf. Things could be worse. He could have been born a hero.

While Aveyond 4: Shadow of the Mist {A4 SotM} is from the same wonderful folks at Amaranth Games who gave us the earlier Aveyond series of RPGs, it is completely detached from Mel and her adventures. I know I am too late for this but this sequel to aveyond is by far the best. It literally made me laugh at many of the jokes in game. Unlike the previous titles the maps are dense with activity, there is always something to do. I liked the graphics and UI improvement. The only thing i miss is sailing freely across the world and the world map feature

I have played all the Aveyond games and I have loved them all... except for this one. That's not to say it isn't an okay game, but it didn't live up to the expectations I have come to have for an Aveyond game. It was a bit disappointing. Pros: - The characters are well done.
