Very charming game. The setting reminds me of Gunnm, which is a plus in my book. It also has an interesting magic system that involves combining different cards to create distinct spells, e.g., using the Barrier card (protection) and the Mirror card (inversion of a card's effect) to create a spell that removes an enemy barrier, then adding an All card to make it apply its effect to all enemies. Levers and backtracking the game Not sure how I feel about this one. Battles are a slog. Backtracking and getting lost sometimes took hours to get out of certain areas like the catacombs. One area having 4 different zones with the same layout was super annoying. All I can say is thankfully there's a cheat to auto win combat or I never would have finished the game with how slow and boring everything was. The FMV's…
