Do not read if you do not wish for spoilers. I don't write reviews, but I want to share my thoughts. The game is good and is fun. However, I felt that toward the end, the puzzles weren't in line with what the game had taught me such as the part with the flashlight guy, I've only seen cages that needed to be lifted up fall down if you let go. I did not know that the cage would stay in place if you moved it up enough…

This was a welcome return to The Pale City. Seeing new aspects of The Signal Tower and The School was a welcome treat, and I adored the train station chapter. Chapter 4 felt the least interesting to me, narratively speaking, but perhaps I just need to think about it more. The medium of VR seems like a natural fit for the endlessly deep and immersive universe of the series, and I’m pleased to say they pulled it off…

I am very disappointed... The overall execution is very poor. There is a lot of running around. The climbing mechanics don't work as it should—even though there are countless well-made games that have already shown how it's done right. In terms of controls, the game feels six years old. Technically, it is extremely outdated. Unfortunately, I have to return the game.
