I quite like this game, unforgiving as it is on classic mode. While the writing is nothing to write home about it's outweighed by an RPG that's both very solid and asks you to utilize the mechanics to their greatest extent. The one downside is the empire building is a bit lacking, there's really only four buildings and you'll end up with more money than you'll ever need before long. However the story and game center…

RS2's story is nothing to write home about to me and I really wish we got see more of the heroes. That being said, the gameplay is top notch and the ability tailor characters to your liking is amazing, The fact that I randomly wanted to make a magic swordsman and simply was able to with my imperial knight was worth the cost of admission.

The gameplay itself was pretty fun to play, but the fact that you have to switch out the main character and the sub characters every few missions when the game decides it's time is a mind-boggling feature. Story and character personalities, little of whatever there are, are shallow and frankly uninteresting. This whole experience was like eating room temperature french fries without any dipping sauce.
