I'm still going to play it, but genuinely you have near to zero bearing on if your run will be a win or not. The entirety of each run is up to pure chance, regardless of your character choice, positioning, or resource management. You will find yourself having countless runs get swept out on just the very first floor, for that matter. Nevermind that the difficulty names are completely misleading as "too easy" and…

I've never had the patience for a tower defense game. For example, I loved the concept of Crystal Defenders but I just couldn't enjoy the gameplay. For some reason, though, I love Dungeon of the Endless. Maybe it's because it flips the tower defense paradigm on its head a bit. I enjoyed trying all the different characters and their abilities. There is also a good selection of hard-but-achievable achievements.
