Pretty fun. If you ever played "Castlevania II" on the NES, this game seems inspired by that. Without putting any spoilers in, I beat the game on "classic" difficulty and it took 8.4 hours. Again without spoilers, to get all the achievements would take a fair bit longer.

EXCELLENT nostalgic Metroidvania with a co-op focus. Really fun to play on the couch with a buddy. Really reminiscent and full of winks to ye olde Castlevanias, Ys and the likes, and makes you wish those also had co-op modes. Game also had its' own strong identity; graphics, tone and gameplay wise. Love it.

Great art style and aesthetic, but the difficulty and the penalty for dying ruin the fun for me. Having to replay long sections over and over again turns the game into a test of patience, especially if you just want to have a good time playing coop.
