The concept behind it is great - scifi HOMM3. The execution is so so. The skeleton of a great game is here, and with a few bold decisions this could be amazing, but its held back to being meh but a number of frustrating decisions. - Campaign balancing and mission design, as others have said, largely explore and build economy until you build a doomstack and steamroll. Amazing game! Oxymoron games did the impossible, they improved Heroes 3 (which was already near perfect). Super fun to play, complaints are very minor (some unit animations look wonky, that's about it). Would recommend it to anyone who likes turn based strategies or RPGs and definitely to all HoMM fans.

Could be a funny heroes like game, but it still needs work, especially the AI. Explained by example The enemy has a huge army. Still, you just walk in his territory through the backdoor entrance. He will almost ignore you, just continuing capturing mines and stuff. You can just conquer his cities, because they are almost unprotected - his huge army is with his king and another hero. Then, he combines his whole army…
