I remember playing the demo for this on a HPS1 demo disc and having a lot of fun with it, and the full game does not disappoint. For a game modeling itself after Game Boy games with a limited palette, it pulls a lot of tricks to first make you feel immersed in the museum setting and then to feel increasingly uneasy. There are the perspective shifts between third and first person based on whether your boss can watch…

I wish I could give a middle ground review. All the parts of a great game are here. The atmosphere, the story, the scares, the game has those. It also lacks any kind of map that i can tell, and also has fixed save spots. Now I liked crow country alot and it ALSO has fixed save spots. I didn't like that about that game either. Can we please stop making games that look like old games but also have their lack of QoL?…
