Fun and creative Roguelike. Easy to learn, with plenty of fun dialog and story bits. I personally am a fan of the quick mode, which has lots more variety and increased difficulty. You can unlock different characters who play differently, from Satchel whose gameplay is nearly identical to the main character Purse, to CR-8, whose gameplay is so radically different it's like playing an entirely different game. This game is absolutely adorable. I love that each character has their own unique style when it comes to combat and backpack builds, which makes experimenting with different setups a lot of fun. I will say that it’s been a while since the last update, and there are still a few bugs here and there. That said, I’m mostly writing this review so people who aren’t in the Discord know that a large update is coming soon!

Not recommended
This game is alright, but it's slow and the challenge didn't seem to be there. The base building and story detracted from the already constantly interrupted combat. Combat is like Slay the Spire. While I enjoy the basic premise of combat, I settled into builds very early and plowed through things effortlessly.
