An EXCEPTIONAL good Contra. deceptively difficult! Also, special shoutout that every weapon in this game feels good - there's no weapon in the bunch that just feels underpowered.

Great homage to classic Contra games! The levels, the movement, the controls are all spot on! Awesome classic pixelated graphics and great chiptune soundtrack. I couldnt get it to work on my Steam Deck (I could have fussed around with it a bit and likely got it working), but I played thru on my laptop and it worked fine with my Xbox controller. I was looking for another game by this developer but could fine another…

I desperately wanted to like this game, eyeball monsters are my favorite thing and there are so many good ones here. Feels like Contra after downing a bottle of cough syrup. If they only made the actions of the player character faster, it would feel a lot more playable. Enemy bullets move nearly 3-TIMES THE SPEED OF YOUR OWN. I bought this game for the grotesque boss designs I'd seen in gameplay videos. What I did…
