About the game

In Nemesis: Lockdown, you're part of a team exploring an alien-infested space base. Craft, hide and fight to make it out of its dark, threat-filled corridors. Fulfill your objective even if it means betraying your allies, but remember - this time, you are not the hunter. You are the PREY.

The game talks to the publisher's own backend, which checked your version and spun up matches on AWS. That backend is gone, and the domain it used isn't even owned by the publisher anymore; it expired, and a domain reseller is listing it for sale. So every client asks a server that no longer exists and shows "your game is outdated" or "AWS request timeout".

A very poor implementation of a lackluster board game. It's ridiculous that multiplayer requires dedicated servers, players are not given the tools to set up the said servers, and the studio turns down the said servers.
