edit: the game became free in may 2022, guess it was easier than patching it up. axiallis is a mouse-based tetris-like that has you placing tetrominoes, but creating lines only awards extra points, doesn't remove the lines themselves. the goal is to prolong filling the board for as long as possible, but you can fill areas blocked from the top, since pieces aren't falling from the sky. the current and next shape are…

This game is amazing. Far better than Tetris in my opinion. It has a great feel to it, a wonderful soundtrack, and the gameplay is intuitive, yet hard to master. I highly recommend it.. good luck not getting addicted though.
