There aren't many good point and click adventures being released lately, fortunately this is one of the few. Interesting story, good voice acting and good puzzles - well worth the modest asking price.

I'm no stranger to point-and-click games, so I seized the opportunity to grab Foolish Mortals on sale. I definitely don't regret my decision. My overall rating would be a 7.5/10, but ultimately, whether you like or dislike this game will depend on several factors. Act I and IV were an absolute delight, and that's not to say that Act II and III were bad. Rather, they seemed to drag a little longer than necessary, but…

Foolish Mortals is a really mixed bag for me. There's so much that's fantastic about it. The story is super interesting and well-written, the background/landscape art is gorgeous and contributes so much to the atmosphere, the music and voice acting are spectacular, and it really evokes the vibes of old LucasArts or Sierra adventure games like Monkey Island. However, that's also where it kind of all falls apart.…
