Pain is a foddian game on the easier side of the scale. The level design is great, not punishing on hard stuff but make mistake on easy jumps and you will fall. There's a decent amount of different mechanics added through the game. The gameplay is simple, but with platform variant to make it more interesting. this game definitely stands out stylistically with a cuter look than other rage games of its caliber. controls are easy to pick up on and understand to the point that falls are more often than not a product of either experimentation or human error rather than the game not doing what the player wanted. mistakes can downright brutal at times, but its a fulfilling journey for anyone with the patience to endure it

It's hard to say whether I recommend people to play this game or not. At the price point it's honestly hard to beat, but ultimately I think I don't recommend it though unless you're desperately in the mood for a foddy-like game.
