Fun innovative presentation, story, and combat system. Wowed through and through by this small indie title. Do try it.

I bought this game right after 100%'ing Isaac, the items unlocking with game completion constantly reminded me of Isaac, which kind of ruined the experience for me initially, as those are two completely different games and Isaac is way more fun. But few weeks later I came back to it and I loved it. The game mechanics are weird at first, and require a bit of learning, but after getting familiar with them it's a blast.

I do not wish to sound too mean with my negative review. This is clearly a very creative game but is also is... not very fun. Every character just has 2-3 moves and customisability does essentially not exist. You cannot choose which 2 out of their 3 moves they will get and everyone can equip 1 item at most (with many also feeling lackluster). The only thing making the combat system itself even remotely interesting…
