I said in my BTD6 review that I still think BTD5 is the best game in the series, and I stand by that. It's late 2026, this game is over a decade old, and I can still open it and lose several hours like absolutely nothing has changed. BTD5 is peak because of how simple it is. Not recommended
Nearly 12 years after release not only did they add pointless achievements, they didn't even implement them correctly. To make it worse, neither Modern Times Group AB (the owners of many gaming companies including NK) nor Ninja Kiwi has said anything public about the intended update, its crappy implementation, or the possibility of a fix. Ensh*ttification and enslopification aren't coming for bloons, they're here.
