It's not bad! It seems to be well balanced in the sense that you're not gonna be able to kill everything while afk, you're gonna have to shoot some yourself. If you know how to build proper mazes you'll be able to create some good choke points. What's interesting is there's a stark difference between traps and towers in this game. If you love fast-paced action and tower defense strategy, you need to play this game. It's a perfect blend of games that have been mentioned in the other reviews, like orcs must die, and the gorgeous graphics with original soundtrack is the cherry on top. The game starts out great, introducing mechanics and adding some complexity, however after the first castle wing very little changes. I played up until the fourth wing and at that point the game just became basicly a loading screen. Difficulty did not really seem to ramp, and the level ups you get were no longer needed.
