I was waiting for this game for sooooo long! Finally it is live! Hamster on Rails is an adorable puzzle game, with simple mechanics very well explored through the game. The dioramas are beautiful, the dialogs are cute, and the whole game has a "Nintendo" vibe that really appeals to me. So far it is working perfectly on my Steam Deck as well, although it is not "verified" yet.

My 5 year old son loved this game! He had a lot of fun with the puzzles, while I was just the narrator and “helper” (in quotes, because many of the challenges he was able to think of and solve before me). It was interesting to see him progress through the game's challenges, which are in line with his current age (he's 5). The graphics are super cute and the music is relaxing, good for solving puzzles. Now he wants…

I played Railbound so I had high expectations for this game. Unfortunately Hamster On Rails couldn't convince me. This game starts with a lot of dialogue. So much dialogue that I was already annoyed of it. Then I played the first levels and I couldn't see much challenge in them. I appreciate the tool to make the surroundings see-through but why not creating a map without upsetting props in the first place? I don't…
