Cute and aesthetically pleasing rhythm game that is fairly beginner friendly. I cannot play rhythm games for the life of me because I simply suck ass at them. Whereas normally I am inclined to get frustrated and give up, Melatonin does provide you with multiple game modes per level to help you get used to the rhythm and the mechanics. I really liked the colour palette, but the main character is a bit too ugly -- it kind of spoils the atmosphere. Could've drawn a cat. Also, the game tends to decide that my hits were too early, especially during the tutorial??? I expected the game to be soothing; it ended up being irritating.
