I personally played the game with mods, and I enjoyed it much more this time compared to when I played it years ago. The story is still great, especially for such an old game, and the soundtrack is excellent. The mods also gave the game a nicer overall feel and made the experience more enjoyable for me. It is old and you can feel that. The combat is rather unsatisfying, I tried to avoid it at any cost. The plot is not bad, but you can see that they improved a lot after this game. It is a weird, junky product of its time. Can't recommend it from the perspective of modern gamer.
