Got this game on sale and honestly, wow. I’m genuinely surprised by the low number of reviews! I’m about 10 hours in and I’m having such a good time with this game. I enjoyed most things about this game, and could tell it was made by a caring and talented group of people. The characters and world are wonderful, I actually enjoyed that its multiple smaller open areas as opposed to one giant one, and overall I respect the vision. It IS definitely hampered by weird quest pacing, backtracking, and somewhat janky platforming/climbing. Even that stuff could be pretty simply dealt…

Hand holding yapfest with no sense of pacing and no concept of nuance or holding anything back. It’s overdesigned and overwhelming, throwing countless characters and terminologies you do not know at you immediately as if you have even the capacity to care yet. I didn’t even understand the kind of gameplay I was getting into before they started spoonfeeding exposition, so why would I care? And once in the game…
