I have rarely liked command-based RPGs so this game took me by surprise. Its story is well-paced and not overly long, character motivations and behaviours are sensible and consistent, and each ending is distinct enough to deserve its place. It's tough to choose but I think Ending 2 is my favourite. Exploration felt rewarding and equipment/items were thoughtful, and I never felt like I was 'lagging behind' on skills…

Yeah, this game is beautiful. If you're a masochist and want a difficult game combat wise then this can definitely be your game. If you just want a good story however, you can make this game stupid easy. I've only completed one of the ending so far, and there are three more, so I'm going to have to go back and actually complete them. I really can't recommend this game enough though, it's fantastic.

While I very much like the story and consider it well thought out, emotional, and player choice being impactful despite the lack of clarity what your actions will do a lot of the time. I can't recommend the game due to how ridiculously brutal the combat is and the poor balance especially when it comes to end boss fights. I'd say gameplay aside, the game would be a 9/10 but I'm going to have to bump down my review…
