For a 2010 game, the graphics are okay. Sure, they feel outdated, but not in a way that disturbs the experience. Music is okay, and sound effects are quite good and reflect the different protagonists well. It’s the gameplay where we start running into issues. 2010 is the same year that we got BioShock 2 and Metro 2033. Alien vs Predator feels like a step back. This is a classic thrill ride as a marine. Invading the dance club for the first time is one of the coolest experiences in any horror game. So much tension, So many jumps in this game. I'm reinstalling this in 2026 to play again.

Sorry, but going to downrate this. The AVP series is a beloved classic but this game incorporates so many bad level designs. The first crime, the pulse rifle is so underwhelming it's pathetic. It takes at times a full magazine to defeat some of the aliens. The androids? Easily 2 full magazines. The sniper rifle, by contrast, is overpowered and can kill an alien with one shot.
