I recently snapped this up during a Steam sale. I was not disappointed, It's a prequel to Tail Concerto and Solatorobo: Red the Hunter. Gameplay revolves around leading these young characters across a wartorn countryside to rescue their families, controlling a giant multi-level vehicle that's a cross between a main battle tank and an armored transport. Fun furry child soldiers game. Includes art from the goat Koki. The boss difficulty can fluctuate wildly. I wish there was just a little more oomph in the final chapter in terms of challenge and spectacle. However tank management, story, character relationships and combat all blend perfectly into a tight experience.

I really would like to tell everyone that this is a great game but it just isn't? They artwork is good sure but the story is... passable? I was kind of expecting a story heavy game but at least for all that I played as of now it's more of an excuse plot which only rarely comes up and when it does it's just very short story scenes. Which I mean, not what I expected but hey, I do like gameplay focused games as well.…
