Very good game, excellent for split-screen co-op and it runs well even on a toaster. After the second level, it will start crashing unless you are running it in Windows 7 compatibility mode. Right click the game in your library, then click Browse Local Files. Right click on LEGOLOTR.exe and click Properties, then go to the Compatibility tab. Turn on compatibility mode, it will probably be set to Windows 7 by default.

LOTR and The Hobbit being my favorite movie series oat and there being lego games is like finding a pack of cigarettes on the floor.

Frustrating. I have played multiple Lego games by now and I find this one very frustrating at times. The character change makes it very frustrating to get some of the more challenging blocks by keep switching to the second character instead of a new one. Very annoying. The story is of course brilliant but that is because it is LOTR.
