"They Bleed Pixels" is a platformer with elite art, mediocre level design, and a fitting soundtrack to go along with it. The controls are some of the worst I've touched in a modern day platformer, 3 actions being performed with 1 button is atrocious. That being said, the game is well worth the $2 I paid for it. And it really checked that "rage game" experience I was looking for. 6.5/10.

I have put hundreds of hours into celeste and other precision platformer style games. The movement in this game though makes me feel like I'm 100 years old. My reaction time is never fast enough to respond to anything and muscle memory has to lock in before I get past even easy looking sections. I'm sure this gets easier the more you play. This is such a uniquely frustrating experience. I enjoy the game- I had fun playing through casually despite it's faults and wanted to work through the rest of the achievements, but that's where I found seething rage I haven't had over a game in... maybe ever?
