This game isn't a Metroidvania. You don't bypass roadblock by unlocking new movement like double jump, wall grab, hook, punch down,... In fact there's nothing like that at all. Whatever movement you start with, you will end the same with no new upgrade. All roadblock are just story wall that disappear when story reach a certain part which is super unnatural.
