About the game

Sproots is a colony management survival game where you control a group of 'sproots' - small pikmin-like creatures - that are in constant need of food and water. They can explore different biomes, pick up objects and study them, learn skills, craft structures and items and teach each other about their findings. Don't forgot to let them lay eggs so your colony keeps on thriving.

Love this game. A little tricky to get the hang of at first, but its def one of those types of games where you have to be ok with starting over and trying again. It really does feel inspired by Pikmin. There are a lot of bugs, though. And there are no save states. Made it past day 100 and mistakenly clicked "new game" and lost my save. Huge bummer! If the fleaworker bug is fixed this game would be complete! This is a fantastic game, for less than $4 you'll get your money's worth- as is. It has a great simple art style, which complements gameplay and its use of time. It has a casual look and approach but is actually quite deep and provides hours of gameplay.
