I am not usually a fan of underwater swimming games, so I went into it not really expecting it to be for me, but I ended up having a genuinely peaceful and relaxing time with it. The whole experience has a very calm, meditative quality to it. As someone who does not normally play games like this, I honestly think ABZÛ was a great introduction to the genre, at least for me.

It's short, but years later I still think about it and play it again from time to time. A beautiful experience, and one of the great examples of games as art.

I wanted to like this game so much. But I hate it. It is extremely unclear what you're supposed to be doing. The controls are awful and confusing. It is pretty, but that's it.
