Loved this game and brought me back to the adventure games of my youth (Sierra/LucasArts) but with an even harder edge. Voice acting is SUPERB. This game is my go-to rec for anyone looking for a modern interpretation of the classic point-and-click genre.

Every other point-and-click released these days gets lauded as "the best adventure game since LucasArts/Sierra", but in the case of The Drifter, it really does hold its own against the classics from the golden age of adventure games, with the benefit of being able to learn from their mistakes. Despite its beautifully retro art style, there are plenty of modern improvements on the old formula. No dead ends, no moon…

This isn't an old school point & click, this is a walking simulator with tedious and repetitive puzzles which will leave you without any sense of accomplishment or satisfaction. Story is great, voice is great, and so are the graphics.
