Hades 2 does many things better, and many things worse. My views after having completed the original with 100% achievements. This game is a lot richer than its predecessor and has many more fun mechanics and items to play around with. Two years ago there was a low depressive period of my life where playing Hades II was the only habit and source of stability I could afford. I think this is just barely a Not Recommended, in a vacuum I could easily recommend it, but since the first game exists, I feel this just takes too many steps backwards. While I do like a lot of what this game did, most positive reviews have already mentioned what I like, so I'm instead going to list gripes, because this is far from a perfect game.
