I want to say, thank you so much for making such a fun game that I beat multiple times with my wife, she really enjoyed getting super overpowered, she did have to listen to me complain a bit about how I didn't like the classes, but honestly, I don't think I would have had it any other way. Ember Knights is a ton of fun! My wife and I love playing together. Normally she wouldn't like this kind of game, but she loved how cute it is and she loved the little bit of character customization. I loved how responsive the gameplay felt and the gameplay loop is a ton of fun. You get a lot of progression between rounds and you rarely feel like you aren't making progress. Not recommended
It's the same as every other broken "rogue like" or "rogue lite" or whatever they call themselves these days. Do good, get punished. Enemies scale to match your growth, which defeats the point. Got tired of dodging just to take damage when I landed. First boss is invincible. Pass.
