A good attempt at recreating The Long Dark. Not quite scary enough without the severe penalties for making a mistake. Doesnt seem to ramp up as you survive longer so it gets easier rather than harder as you go along. Certainly worth the play.

It's a game with promise but as of right now it's held back by bizarre design choices. Picture this: You have been trudging through snow and wind, freezing, hungry and at the end of your rope. You see a small village ahead and enter one of the abandoned houses. Inside you find food, clothing, lots of books on shelves and a bed or two. You make a cozy fire, not in a fireplace mind you, but in the middle of the wood…
