First impressions of Tartapolis? Not great. For a start, after an hour's "play" (I use the word somewhat loosely) I see very little evidence of it being much of a Metroidvania. There's no map, the world is entirely black-and-white — so visually-distinctive landmarks are few and far between — and the combat so far was awful, hampered by poor controls, no controller remapping, and a general lack of responsiveness. I really enjoying Tartapolis as far. The city is beautiful, the lore & story is really immersing! I want to explore the game more, to gain better knowledge about this city and history of Richard as well!
