As a big fan of the The Mortuary Assistant , I was curious about DarkStone Digital's other work and was pleasantly surprised. While the puzzles are a bit convoluted, I found the story across multiple playthroughs very interesting. That being said, set aside an hour or two to complete a run since there is no saving. After discovering and loving The Mortuary Assistant (and unlocking all achievements) I started to look into the older games of the dev. Honestly, OSB really got me! The puzzles are very clever, just the type I used to solve when I was a teenager (there were no guides back then), and everytime I solved something, it felt so rewarding, like I´m not stupid :)))) I did NOT turn on the tips. It is a puzzle game where you will succeed not by using skill, but by getting lucky or by randomness. Apparently you need to activate the tips in the game (journal that will appear in game) to complete the puzzles. You activate this option in the settings. I am finding this out by reading other comments, and I am not suprised because it is an impossible game to progress very far without help because it is not skill…
