I want so badly for this game to be good but it just isn't quite there. The levels of jank you have to be willing to put up with to enjoy this are just a little beyond me. One major fix that would make me willing to recommend the game is the way you get new cases. Shadows of Doubt is a game I hate to love. It is an abusive relationship where the highs are high and the lows are in Hell. Simultaneously being the best detective game I've ever played is counterbalanced with being one of the buggiest pieces of software I've ever installed on my PC.
