Keep in mind this is remake of GBA port NOT back to nature on PS1. Sure there's some nice QoL and graphics improvement, but this game is really missing something important that exactly why made this game have soul, the bachelorettes music theme. I was surprised by this. I was expecting a remaster of Back to Nature, since it had the same characters. However, the entire layout -- from the town map to inside the buildings -- are so incredibly bland. The double bed issue, I thought was a bug. I got it to scratch the Stardew Valley itch and try Harvest Moon again, but I just found myself wanting to go back to stardew. The characters are fine, but nothing particularly interesting. The farming mechanics are a little tedious. Store hours are particularly cumbersome. It's not bad, but I found it more frustrating than fun very early on.
